The mission of BMVSS is to provide limbs, calipers and other mobility aids and appliances to as many of such disabled, as possible, at its centers, and through its outreach programs and rehabilitation camps. Mobility is one of the most important elements to be independent and artificial mobility aids help to overcome dependence and give confidence to the beneficiary to do something gainful in life. The financial assistance provided by Arcil will benefit about 350 physically handicapped needy beneficiaries to walk back with dignity to a normal self-respecting and productive life.

The Project implementation in Agra took place in early March 2024. It was implemented by the BMVSS artificial limb fitment center, Jaipur through an “on the spot” artificial limb fitment camp, where artificial aids and appliances were provided to beneficiaries free of charge on behalf of Arcil.

Support to Cancer Patients in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai

In partnership with Madat Charitable Trust

Support to Cancer Patients in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai

Treatment for cancer is very difficult at Government Facilities where huge number of patients are in waiting for good low-cost facilities. Patients are therefore forced to seek large sums as loans to get the treatment carried out at private hospitals where the cost of treatment is much higher. This results in them ending up with a huge unmanageable debt and pushes their families in dire financial circumstances. Mostly due to lack of funds or difficulty in raising sufficient funds, the treatment is delayed or not just taken. Accordingly, Arcil has partnered with Madat Charitable Trust, Mumbai for providing support to poor & needy patients undergoing Cancer treatment for support towards costs of their cancer treatment & therapy at Hospital / centres in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai. In this initiative, MCT would identify the patients based upon their financial condition, urgency of treatment support needed and financial support required. Once found eligible, as MCT has tie up with multiple leading hospitals handling Cancer treatment, they would support the treatment of shortlisted patients at these private hospitals with Arcil’s financial donation and subsidized rates offered by the Hospitals.
